iKON’s Chanwoo + TREASURE’s Hyunsuk, Junkyu & Mashiho Confirmed With COVID-19

More YG Entertainment artists have contracted Covid-19.

YG Entertainment has confirmed more names of its artists who have tested positive for COVID-19. Chanwoo of iKON and TREASURE’s Hyunsuk, Junkyu and Mashiho, all received positive diagnosis for the virus. The agency revealed in a statement released on January 27.

The label reassured that the artists are all vaccinated. They also stated that members from each group, including those with negative diagnosis, are all in good health and asymptomatic.

With regard to TREASURE’s upcoming comeback, YG Entertainment said that the group recently completed all the preparations. They finished recording the new album, filmed the new music video and practiced their choreography in compliance with quarantine guidelines.

Previously confirmed cases include iKON members Jinhwan, Yunhyeong, Dongyuk and Junhoe, together with WINNER’s Lee Seung Hoon and TREASURE’s Yoshi.

iKON’s  Jung Chanwoo and TREASURE’s Choi Hyunsuk, Junkyu, and Mashiho were additionally classified confirmed COVID-19 cases.

They have received their full vaccinations against COVID-19. Also, all members of each group including those who tested negative are all in good health without any symptoms.

Treasure had completed all preparations for their comeback, such as recording for the new album, filming a music video, and practicing their choreography while strictly complying with quarantine guidelines.

With the number of new corona19 confirmed not only in Korea but also around the world, we are prioritizing the safety of our artists and employees more than ever.

Going forward, we will continue to closely consult with the quarantine authorities to provide extensive support and intensive preemptive measures necessary to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
