INFINITE’s Kim Myung Soo Is Now Discharged From Military

Kim Myung Soo is finally back!

Well-loved idol-turned-actor Kim Myung Soo, also known as L from the K-pop boy group INFINITE, has been officially discharged from the Marine Corps.

Earlier today, Kim Myung Soo took to his personal Instagram account to share delightful news with fans. He posted a photo showing his “Exemplary Marine” certificate along with the letters and a special portrait he received. Alongside the post, he revealed his experience while fulfilling his mandatory military service. “I learned and felt a lot and had a healthy life as a marine. Thank you to everyone who waited. I will start part 2 (of my career),” he wrote in the caption.

He enlisted in the Marine Corps in February last year and was discharged on the same day after completing his military service.

Netizens who saw the news congratulated his discharge with comments such as “I’m proud,” “I miss you,” and “Finally back, you worked hard!”

Kim Myung Soo debuted as an INFINITE member back in 2010. He’s still part of the group even though he departed from his long-time agency, Woolim Entertainment, in 2019 to pursue his solo career.  Recently, he starred in the KBS 2TV drama Royal Secret Agent.
