ITZY Strings Music Show Wins For Latest Track “ICY”

ITZY has been nabbing sweet victories on local music broadcasts with back to back wins.

After the release of “ICY” on July 29, ITZY’s popularity has been skyrocketing. The dynamic girl group won accolades at KBS2 TV’s Music Bank and MBC’s Show Champion during their active promotions.


Moreover, they also placed first at the latest SBS Inkigayo broadcast. This triumph made ITZY clutch the Top Artist award of the said show, adding it as a 12th win for the girl’s latest comeback.

Aside from the music show victories, ITZY won recognitions from three separate awards shows this year. They won the “Female Rookie Idol of the Year Award” at the Brand of the Year Awards. The girls were also nominated for the “Favorite Female Artist Award” at the Soribada Best K-Music Awards and brought home the gold for the “Rookie Award” from the said awards show.

Finally, the Genie Music Awards was a big achievement for the quintet. They were nominated for “The Top Artist Award”, the “Genie Music Popularity Award”, and the “Global Popularity Award”. The global super rookies were met with thunderous applause when they were announced as the winners of the “Female New Artist Award” from the said event.

The good news just keeps on coming when it comes to ITZY. Their debut song, “DALLA DALLA”, just reached 146 million views. It was released on February 10 this year, which proves the monstrous presence of this trending girl group in the industry.

Aside from that record, their latest title track, “ICY” also raked in huge number of views. It sits currently on 73 million views and the numbers are still rising.

ITZY continually proves their talent and massive presence in the K-Pop scene today. They continually develop new ways to show their charisma and flair to maintain their influence on the music charts.
