ITZY Promises To Repay Fans’ Love After Epic Successful Debut

On the 11th episode of ITZY’s show on Naver’s V Live aired on March 18, the girls became emotional while reading the letters gifted by fans and vowed to do their best to repay their love.

While making preparations for a TV appearance, JYP Entertainment’s rookie girl group, composed of Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna, thanked the fans for their overwhelming support.

One of the members, Chaeryeong admitted, “I feel like crying. I’m so happy.”

Yeji, the group’s leader also shared how she felt on grabbing the No.1 spot on a music program. “Just being one of the candidates made me wonder if we really deserve to be here,” she said.

Chaeryeong added, “It’s all like a dream. We will never forget our resolution as a rookie act and will do our best.”

Another member, Lia, expressed her appreciation on receiving recognition early in their music career. “We topped the chart only two weeks since our debut. I’m so moved and grateful,” she said.

“It felt as if you were telling us that we are doing OK,” said Ryujin who was not able to hold her tears back on stage. She even gave a sweet promise to their fans: “We want to be there for you, to give you strength, comfort, and smiles.”

They currently hold the record of being the fastest girl group to win in a music show, achieving such feat only nine days after their debut.

Moreover, the music video of their title song garnered impressive YouTube views, which counted at 14 million in its first 24 hours.
