IU Donates 100 Million Won To Support Children In Need
Each celebrity has his or her own way of celebrating Children’s Day. As for IU, she chose to make a significant donation to support the children in need.
The star has proven herself as a talented singer and potential actress with pure beauty not only on the outside, but also on the inside. IU reportedly contributed 100 million Won (approximately $92,300) to ChildFund Korea to help the children of low-income families.
A representative of the charity organization shared:
Today is Children’s Day and while children with parents receive love and gifts from their parents, many underprivileged children end up spending the day lonely. IU donated money for these children.
The representative even revealed that the idol has been volunteering to help disabled children as well.
