IU Gives Heartwarming Donation Ahead Of Children’s Day Celebration

The beautiful and generous heart of IU is really impressive!

South Korean idol-actress IU continues to show her love and support to children in need with her latest donation.

A heart to help

Earlier today, the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, revealed that the multi-faceted singer has donated 100 million won (approximately $81,570) today – a day before the Children’s Day celebration on May 5.

Despite having a jam-packed schedule, IU still devotes time to share her many blessings with others. Truly an angel sent from above, the well-loved K-Pop soloist has been actively providing monetary assistance to the said global non-profit organization to support children’s welfare since 2015.

Previously, she also made several donations to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic, which totaled to 315 million won (approximately $265,000).

An Upcoming Collaboration With BTS’ Suga

Aside from her generous donations, IU is also set to treat fans this May 6 with a delightful song release.

Her upcoming single “Eight” also features BTS’ Suga who has also worked as a producer for this song. With just two days left before the official release date of her newest track, IU continues to hype up fans with her magical teasers left and right.
