IU Helps Out More People Affected By COVID-19 Through Generous Donation
IU proves again that her heart is just as beautiful as her voice, as she makes another generous donation for the benefit of the less fortunate.
During these trying times, IU shows us that there is still hope in the world as she makes another donation – this time to help families affected by the crisis.
On May 14, it was revealed that the songstress made a donation of 10 million won as a way to aid families affected by the pandemic. This marks her second donation towards helping families left vulnerable during this crisis, having donated 30 million won to the city of Gwacheon.
Prior to this, IU also donated 100 million to Good Neighbors, a humanitarian organization which helps out families and frontliners in the crisis. The singer also purchased 100 million won worth of personal protective equipment, which was donated to the doctors of the Korean Medical Association.
Earlier this month, IU made her yearly donation to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation in honor of Children’s Day.
In related news, the singer’s collaboration with BTS’ Suga recently achieved an all-kill status. “Eight” also continues to take over the charts – dominating the no.1 spot on the daily, real-time, and even weekly charts of Melon, Genie, Bugs, Soribada, Flo, and iChart.
