Jang Keun Suk and Cri J Continue Volunteer Work For 11 Consecutive Years
Jang Keun Suk’s official fan club Cri J opened the 11th Jang Keun Suk Birthday Sharing Photo Exhibition at Monaco Space, Seocho-gu, Seoul for two days on September 17 and 18, and donated all the proceeds.
This photo exhibition consists of photos and fan art taken by fans, and fans from all over the world can participate and come to Korea to view the photo exhibit in person.
In particular, at the opening ceremony of this photo exhibition, about 400 fans from all over the world gathered to show their positive influence on neighbors in need.
At the 11th Sharing Photo Exhibition, a total of 146 million won in warm donations was collected, including Jang Keun Suk’s donation of 10 million won. The money raised was donated to Namsanwon, a child care facility, Aesin Garden (support for abandoned dog food), Snail of Love (support for surgery for hearing-impaired children), Damwoohoe (surgery for patients with biliary atresia), and Jumong Rehabilitation Center (retarded brain lesion disorder).
Jang Keun Suk’s Birthday Sharing Photo Exhibition is an event started by Jang’s official fan club Cree J to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the actor’s debut. It has been running for 11 years. The accumulated donations through the Sharing Photo Exhibition totaled 1.19072 billion won, with approximately 1.2 billion won donated, spreading the virtuous cycle of fan culture.
In addition to donating money, Jang Keun-suk’s official fan club Cri J has continued to contribute to the local community by making consistent donations and volunteer work, such as delivering relief goods and briquettes, for 11 years with Jang Keun Suk.
Jang Keun Suk, who meaningfully celebrated his birthday with his fans through the ’11th Sharing Photo Exhibition’, plans to continue doing good deeds with his fans in the future.
