JYJ’s Jaejoong Touches Hearts With His Handwritten Letter From Army
On April 15, the older sister of JYJ′s Jaejoong updated her Twitter with photos of her brother’s first handwritten letter to their parents from the military, touching the hearts of many fans.
Some parts of the letter are blurred due to privacy reason, with the legible parts mainly contain Jaejoong’s thoughts on his life in the army after one week of enlistment, as well as his heartfelt concern for the health of his parents.
The idol wrote in his letter:
“Dear Father, Mother. It′s been exactly a week since I came here. People say time doesn′t pass, but one week has finally passed .
I didn′t know that writing a letter to my parents like this would be such a heart-fluttering and nervous event. This place called the army has already taught me this lesson.
How is your health? As always, I am spending a good time in good health. I hope that you stay healthy and enjoy every single day. I love you, Father, Mom. Your son, Jae Joong.”
The JYJ member joined the army on March 31, and will serve as an active duty soldier after completing his basic training in the First Division recruit training center in Sinsan-ri, Gwangtan-myeon, Paju-si, in Gyeonggi province. He is expected to be discharged from the army on December 30, 2016.
