JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun To Bid Farewell At ‘2015 JYJ Membership Week’ Before Enlistment
The enlistment date for JYJ member and actor Park Yoo Chun is just around the corner, and he has expressed his wish to enter the army without any fanfare.
On August 11, C-JeS Entertainment made an official announcement regarding the heartthrob’s low-profile enlistment, saying:
Park’s admission ceremony will take place in private on August 27. We would like to ask for your kind understandings for the private event. We have made the decision according to the singer’s wishes, and the military training center also stated difficulties regarding a press event.
Park will spend his remaining time with fans at JYJ’s coming fan meeting, titled 2015 JYJ Membership Week, on August 25 ahead of his military enlistment.
The singer-turned-actor will be the second JYJ member to join the army, following Kim Jaejoong, who is currently serving as an active duty soldier. Park is scheduled to enter his boot camp on August 27 for his basic training, before beginning his mandatory service as a public service worker for two years, due to his asthma which resulted him unfit for active duty.
