KBS cancels episode of ‘Music Bank’ for Olympics

By  |

KBS recently announced that Friday’s usual airing of Music Bank has been cancelled to broadcast the 2012 London Olympics live. A representative from KBS stated:

“We will broadcast the archery, fencing and table tennis matches during the time slot of Music Bank.”

The music show will be aired next Friday without interruption. Music Bank made its official debut onto television in 1998 and produced a countdown chart of all categories – K-Chart – in 2008. The chart ranking is determined by calculating digital music chart (65%), music sales (5%), broadcast count (2o%), and viewers preference (10%).
