Kim Myung Soo & Shin Ye Eun Secure Launch Date For Their Newest Drama “Welcome”
Actors Kim Myung Soo and Shin Ye Eun are set to frolic in healing romance with their latest series
Welcome (literal translation) brings together the charms of the two actors in a new work to be aired on KBS 2TV in March 2020.
Based on a webtoon of the same name, the television drama adaptation will circle on the story of Seol Ah, a woman who one day takes home a cat. Unknown to her, the cat can transform to a human form and has witnessed her pains and hardships. From there, a journey of healing and romance will spring.
Both stunning in their own ways, actors Kim and Shin are already garnering attention to how their screen romance will evolve.
Coming from highly-lauded dramas – Angel’s Last Mission: Love and Miss Hammurabi, Kim Myung Soo has been broadening his craft as an actor through memorable roles. For this new drama, he challenges a unique character who leads a double life of a cat and a man.
Meanwhile, rising actress Shin Ye Eun has picked her momentum since her impressive showing in web drama A-Teen and tvN’s He is Psychometric. Shin portrays Sol Ah, a woman in her mid-20’s and works for a visual design company. She is very sociable and dreams of becoming a webtoon artist. Sol Ah is a dog lover and wants to experience everything in life.
PD Ji Byung Hun, who worked on Lovely Horribly and Big will lead the production.
The production team remarked how Kim Myung Soo, Shin Ye Eun and the rest of the cast are with much enthusiasm to bring excitement to the viewers with the new project.
Welcome is scheduled for first broadcast in March 2020.
