Kim Soo Hyun’s Younger Sister Debuts As A Singer with ‘High Society’ OST
It came as a surprise that rookie artist Kim Joo Na, who has officially made her singing debut by lending her beautiful voice to the latest OST release, titled What Do I Do Without You (literally translated) of the current SBS drama High Society, is actor Kim Soo Hyun’s younger sister.
On July 22, a representative from the drama stated:
Kim Joo Na, who sang on the High Society OST, is Kim Soo Hyun′s younger sister. It′s difficult to address in detail [regarding the family relationship].
Kim Soo Hyun’s agency Keyeast Entertainment also made an official announcement regarding the relationship between him and Kim Joo Na, saying: “Kim Joo Na is Kim Soo Hyun′s half sister. From what we know, they do not keep in close contact with each other.”
Earlier on July 21, Kim Joo Na shared the news about her debut as a singer via her SNS account:
The song I sang for the High Society OST is finally out. I ask for your interest and love. I will work hard from now on. Thank you.
The talented singer is said to be a former trainee of MusicK Entertainment. She was then expected to debut as a member of girl group The Ark in last April. However, she finally made her debut now as a soloist with the High Society OST.
In related news, High Society tells the love story between Jang Yoon Ha (Uee), the youngest daughter of a conglomerate group who tries to find true love by hiding her identity working part-time at a food market, and Choi Jun Ki (Sung Jun), a man who comes from a poor background and works hard to get himself into a high ranking position. The drama airs on every Mondays and Tuesdays at 9:55 p.m (KST) for a total of 16 episodes.
