Lee Yi Kyung is gearing up for big things.

The actor recently renewed his contract with his existing agency, HB Entertainment. Even though his existing contract has not yet expired, they made the mutual decision to renew the actor’s contract.

A representative from HB Entertainment made the announcement about Lee. They credit the trust they’ve built over the years due to their long-standing relationship as basis for their decision.

Because the actor has been under HB Entertainment since his debut, they ended the existing contracts early and renewed their contract even though there is still a lot of time before the contract was set to expire.

The actor made his debut in 2011 campus romance drama Heartstrings. He did a cameo role as well in School 2013.  Recently, the actor gained even more popularity when he joined the main cast of Welcome to Waikiki and its sequel, Welcome to Waikiki 2.

The representative also said, “We are delighted to continue our relationship with Lee. This is based on the trust we have had with him over a long period of time. We will continue to support active actors in various fields, and we will not hesitate in giving our full support to them.”

Lee’s Hotel Del Luna Cameo

Additionally, tvN released stills of the actor’s recent cameo on Hotel Del Luna. Both Lee and Kim Joon Hyun made unexpected appearances on the drama. The two stars join a growing list of cameos on the popular Hong sisters drama.
