During the ceremony to hand over the donation, Lee shared: “I came to join the donation campaign out of the thought that it is very important to develop a society’s medical level as its fruit can be shared by not just one patient but many others.”
Earlier last year, the kind actress reportedly donated nearly 500 million won alone to low-income and multicultural families, as well as low-income pregnant women.
In related news, Lee recently made her long-awaited comeback to the small screen with the SBS drama Saimdang, Memoir of Colors, after 14 years since her last hit drama Dae Jang Geum in 2003.
