MONSTA X Gets Appointed As Goodwill Ambassadors For IACC

MONSTA X truly redefines the term ‘idols’ as they indeed set an inspiring example being appointed as goodwill ambassadors for IACC!  

MONSTA X has been appointed as the goodwill ambassadors for the 19th International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC). The International Anti-Corruption Conference is the world’s largest anti-corruption forum. The 19th IACC will be held in South Korea in December.

Since 1983, the International Anti-Corruption Conference has been taking place every two years. The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and Transparency International will be hosting upcoming 19th meet. It will be held via a video conference due to the pandemic.

The group is already the global ambassador promoting the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals through #TOGETHERBAND that adheres to the goal of peace, justice and strong institutions. 

MONSTA X will attend an on-tack online appointment ceremony on the October 23. In the event, they will be receiving a letter of appointment as honorary ambassadors. The ceremony will be airing live exclusively through the 권익비전 YouTube channel as well.

Since their debut in 2015, the multitalented group made a mark as powerhouse K-pop idols. They have showcased their talents and growth through each album over the years.

On being bestowed the title as goodwill ambassadors, MONSTA X, said, “It is truly a great honor to be selected as goodwill ambassadors for the International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC), which is meaningful worldwide, and we do feel the responsibility that comes with the heavy title. But since it’s something so meaningful, we hope our members, Monbebe, our families and everyone around the world will be able to face a happier and more reliable society in the future, and we will work hard to promote the good meaning and message of IACC.”

Meanwhile, MONSTA X is set to make a comeback on November 2 with their third full-length album FATAL LOVE. The group will continue their various activities as ambassadors for the International Anti-Corruption Conference as well.
