We are praying for Shownu’s speedy recovery.
Starship Entertainment informed fans on July 3 that MONSTA X’s Shownu had recently undergone eye surgery.
According to the agency, the MONSTA X leader is recovering from his recent operation due to retinal detachment, which is defined by the National Eye Institute as an “eye problem that happens when your retina (a light-sensitive layer of tissue in the back of your eye) is pulled away from its normal position at the back of your eye.”
Starship Entertainment’s statement is as follows:

Shownu was pre-examining at an ophthalmology clinic for LASIK surgery scheduled for July 2.
