MONSTA X’s Shownu Tests Negative For COVID-19 + Resumes Activities

MONSTA X’s beloved leader Shownu resumes activities after receiving a negative test for COVID-19.

Just recently, Starship Entertainment posted an official statement regarding Shownu’s health via its official website.

“On March 8, Shownu was preemptively tested for COVID-19 before proceeding with his personal schedule at the request of the team related to the scheduled event. As a result, it was judged ‘undecided’ on the 9th. After retesting, it was finally ‘negative’ today,” the agency said.

The company then revealed that Shownu got the confirmation to carry out all of his scheduled activities normally.

Assuring fans about the safety of their artists, Starship added, “We will continue to do our best for the health and stability of artists by complying with the health authorities’ quarantine guidelines. We ask for your understanding for causing concern. Thank you to the fans who always love MONSTA X.”

Meanwhile, in recent news, MONSTA X delighted fans around the world, albeit virtually through their two-day online concert party titled MX UNIVERSITY on March 6 and 7. Aside from delivering splendid performances, the boys gamely showcased their chemistry through other fun-filled segments.
