MONSTA X has also pushed back the dates to their world tour stops in U.S and Canada due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.

MONSTA X announced the postponement of their world tour’s planned dates in U.S and Canada through an official statement on May 14.

The boy group will be pushing back the dates for the North American leg of their upcoming tour, whose kick-off in Seoul has also been canceled earlier, in light of the continuing COVID-19 outbreak worldwide.

“Hello. This is Starship Entertainment.

We regret to announce that 2020 MONSTA X World Tour In U.S/Canada originally scheduled for June-July 2020 is being rescheduled out of an abundance of caution.

As the number of confirmed cases around the world continues to increase due to coronavirus infection-19 (COVID-19), please understand that we have decided to postpone the performance of 2020 MONSTA X World Tour In U.S/Canada in order to prioritize the health protection of visitors, artists, and staff.

We plan to secure a new performance schedule while keeping an eye on the situation so that we can hold the concert again after the situation is stabilized. We are adhering to the guidance of all the local governments regarding public events to ensure we are providing a safe environment for everyone involved.

As soon as we have the new dates finalized, we’ll share the updated schedule, and all tickets will be honored accordingly. More announcements will be made as soon as we are able regarding new dates. All ticket holders will be contacted shortly by your original point of purchase.

We ask for generous understanding of the fans who have been waiting for the 2020 MONSTA X World Tour In U.S/Canada and look forward to seeing all of our Monbebes on the road soon.”

The tour’s North America leg was originally scheduled to begin at The Armory in Minneapolis on June 2 and conclude at the The Forum in Los Angeles on July 11. Tickets began to go on sale last January 17 at 3 PM EST as well.
