NCSOFT and Klap Officially Launch K-Pop Entertainment Platform “UNIVERSE,” Featuring MONSTA X, Kang Daniel, IZ*ONE, And More

The global K-pop entertainment platform is now here to connect fans and artists!

On January 28, NCsoft Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Taek-jin, NC) and Klap Co., Ltd. officially launch the K-pop entertainment platform “UNIVERSE” in 134 countries worldwide.

UNIVERSE is an all-in-one platform that provides users to enjoy diverse online and offline fan activities on their mobile devices. In line with the message “For Fans, With Artists,” NCsoft presents opportunities for fans to communicate with their artists. The platform strives to let fans and artists get closer together with its IT technology and entertainment content.

A variety of original contents will be presented by the 11 artists such as MONSTA X’s “Area 51: The Code” and Kang Daniel’s “Agent Blackjack K.”

Exclusively, the full version music video for IZ*ONE’s new song “D-D-DANCE” was released on NCSOFT and Klap’s UNIVERSE app immediately after its official launch.

UNIVERSE offers diverse fan activities such as Media, which provides exclusive access to original content such as music videos, variety shows, photos, and radio.

The Fan Network Service (FNS) is the place where artists and fans stay connected to communicate. It is where stories or letters from the artists are posted, as well as daily photos and stories from fans.

There is a three-level status for fans: Writer, Content Creator, and Influencer. These levels include special features that fans will enjoy during their stay with UNIVERSE. Particularly, Content Creator produces and shares content with each other and the level status will be awarded based on the activeness and participation of fans in the platform.

Lastly, the “Studio” will be the place where fans can design artist characters and enables them to produce their own preferred music video with the provided artist track.
