NCT 127 To Get Busier As It Gears Up For A May Comeback

NCT 127 is up for busy months ahead!

The boys of NCT 127 will join the parade of new releases next month as they gear up for their first comeback this 2019.

SM Entertainment confirmed on April 12 that the boy group aims to return with new music in May. However, the entertainment company did not disclose a specific date or other information regarding the upcoming release.

The May comeback will come after six months since the repackaged version of Regular-Irregular titled Regulate was released.

Going Worldwide with NEO CITY – The Origin

In addition to an upcoming comeback, the second sub-unit of NCT will also fill the coming months with the North American, Latin American, and European legs of its first world tour titled 1st Tour “NEO CITY – The Origin.

It will kick off the US and Canada concerts on April 24 in Newark, followed by Atlanta on April 26 and Miami on April 28. Then, the boys will meet NCTzens in Dallas, Phoenix, Houston, and Chicago on May 1, 3, 5, and 7, respectively. They will hold two concerts in San Jose on May 9 and 10, before closing the US stops in Los Angeles.

NCT 127 will move to Canada with shows in Toronto and Vancouver on May 17 and 19, respectively. Meanwhile, Mexico City will serve as the only stop of the tour in Latin America as of press time. The concert there will take place on May 21. The boy group will then travel to Europe for shows in Saint Petersburg on June 26 and Moscow on June 29. The NEO CITY – The Origin world tour started in Seoul on January 26 and 27. It also stopped in Japan for 14 concerts in seven cities.

Other than World Tour: What Does NCT 127 Have In Store Next?

Aside from their world tour, the boys extend their activities in the United States with appearances on television programs Good Morning America and Strahan and Sara on April 18.

They will also headline the Summer Kick Off Concert in San Diego on May 31 together with Halsey, Ellie Goulding, Bebe Rexha, CNCO, Ally Brooke, Bryce Vine, Fletcher, and AJ Mitchell. Additionally, NCT 127 will once again team up with Halsey, CNCO, Ellie Goulding, and Fletcher for Wazzamatazz on June 2. Other artists who will perform include Ava Max and TY James.

In line with their growing international popularity, NCT 127 signed a deal with Capitol Music Group and Caroline Distribution where the latter will distribute and market the boy group in several territories worldwide.

Moreover, the second sub-unit of NCT will also take over Japan with its first studio album Awaken fronted by “Wakey Wakey” on April 17.
