NCT 127 Breaks Their Personal Best-Selling Album Record On Gaon With “Neo Zone”
NCT 127 continues to land impressive feats for their latest comeback!
NCT 127 had scored the number one position on the Gaon Monthly Album Chart for March 2020 as their second full-length album raked in a record-breaking number of sold copies!
Released last March 6, the group’s second full-length album NCT #127 Neo Zone recorded a whopping total of 723,150 copies sold in Gaon. This breaks their personal highest sales record since debut, once again confirming NCT 127’s rising powerful presence in the current K-Pop scene.
In addition to this feat which landed them a quick debut at number one on Gaon’s monthly album chart, the group has also successfully become the fifth K-Pop group overall to surpass the amount of 700,000 copies sold for one album on Gaon.
NCT #127 Neo Zone also topped various music charts in Korea, including Gaon Chart and Hanteo Monthly Record Chart. Its title track “Kick It” also received enthusiastic responses from fans, as shown in how it topped major domestic music charts upon its release.
The song also took over the top of Gaon’s Download Chart for two consecutive weeks immediately after its release.
NCT 127 also displayed their global popularity by soaring high on Billboard’s main charts Billboard 200 and Artist 100, as well as the Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, World Album and Tastemaker Album, during its release month.
Meanwhile, SM Entertainment recently confirmed that the NCT sub-unit is already preparing for their speedy comeback with a new repackage album set to be released this May.
