NCT’s Ten Excites Fans With Sultry “Birthday” Teasers

Surprise! NCT’s Ten To Drop A Solo Song before the end of October.

On October 21, SM Entertainment revealed Ten would be the fifth NCT member to be featured as part of SM STATION: NCT LAB. SM STATION: NCT LAB is an archiving project where you can meet NCT’s diverse music activities, including members’ solo songs, self-composed songs, and unit songs for their beloved NCTzens.

Ten’s solo song, titled “Birthday,” is an R&B dance track where you can fully feel Ten’s delicate vocals. The minimally repeated drum and marimba sounds, as well as the dynamic drop in the bridge section, create a dreamy atmosphere, making the day with your lover.

Not to mention, the romantic English lyrics that compare it to a happy birthday draw listeners’ attention. Throughout the teasers, Ten delivers a more sultry, more mature concept than fans are used to from previously released tracks so anticipation for the song is high.

In addition to his activities with NCT and the subunit WayV, Ten has a growing discography of solo songs and performances, including “Paint Me Naked,” “New Heroes,” and “夢中夢 (Dream In A Dream).” These songs were also released through SM STATION and are available on various music streaming platforms.

The new song “Birthday” will be available on various music streaming sites such as Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Melon, Genie, QQ Music, Flo, Kugou Music, and Kuwo Music on Wednesday, October 26 at 6 pm KST.
