Netflix Creates Korean Collection From Existing Catalog
Netflix collates South Korean content through “Made in Korea” collection
Following the move in promoting South Korean content, Netflix, the largest internet entertainment service provider; announced forming a special cluster of Korean content.
All original South Korean content will be included in “Made in Korea” selection. It goals to showcase Korean drama series and variety shows in one collection.

The move emphasizes the recent strategic partnership Netflix underwent to broaden its commitment in bringing South Korean film and TV content for its growing global audience.
In the last two years, Netflix has productive and well-received engagement streaming Korean content. For the next three years, the company goals content creation and global distribution.
This month, a few Korean dramas have begun streaming on the platform such as Hotel Del Luna and Her Private Life. Well-loved variety show Busted! 2 also premiered, as well as, the film Tune in For Love.

Highly-anticipated second season of Kingdom has also been confirmed in March.
Based on the industry data, the company had an estimated two million paid viewers in South Korea as of the end of October.
