Netflix Releases Exciting “Vagabond” Video Trailer Ahead Of Its Anticipated Launch
Starring Lee Seung Gi and Bae Suzy, Vagabond gears up for its explosive premiere.
Netflix is proud to share good news to its subscribers. Vagabond is all set to premiere on Netflix on September 20. In the released latest video trailer, the Korean drama heightens anticipation with an overview of its thrilling plot.
In the drama, Lee Seung Gi portrays the role of stuntman Cha Dal Geon. He dreams of becoming an international action star. However, he gets into a tragic airplane crash. Dal Geon ends up discovering a national corruption scandal. He gets entangled in trying to uncover the mystery behind the plane crash.
Vagabond will be Lee’s second drama after his discharge from his mandatory military enlistment in 2017. In 2018, he starred in the tvN drama A Korean Odyssey.
Posed to become an NIS black operations agent working undercover, Bae raises expectation on her character portrayal. In the drama, she is depicted as once dreaming of being a white agent, but being the breadwinner of her family, she opted to work on complex missions.
Additionally, this is Bae’s comeback drama after a two-year hiatus. Her last drama was in 2017 when she starred alongside Lee Jong Suk in the SBS drama While You Were Sleeping.
Husband-and-wife writers Jang Young Chul and Jang Kyung Soon pen the script. They have worked on Monster and Empress Ki among others. It will be orchestrated by Director Yoo In Sik of Doctor Romantic fame.
Viewers can look forward to the high-impact action scenes involving Lee and Bae’s characters. Adding even more spice to the cast is Shin Sung Rok, who will portray Ki Tae Woong.
The newest action drama will be a reunion between Lee and Bae. Previously, the pair worked together in the 2013 MBC drama Gu Family Book.
Vagabond premieres on Netflix on September 20.
