Nicole Scherzinger Expresses Wish For BTS’ Jimin To Guest On “The Masked Singer”

By  |

Pussycat Doll member and host of the American adaptation of King of Mask Singer, Nicole Scherzinger, shared that if she could invite one Korean artist to guest on the show, she would pick Jimin of BTS.

In celebration of the six-year anniversary of the original Korean version of The Masked Singer, the hosts of the American adaptation were asked which Korean celebrity they would like to guest if given the chance.

Nicole Scherzinger revealed that her choice would be none other than BTS’ Jimin. “If I could invite a Korean celebrity for The Masked Singer, it would have to be Jimin from BTS. I wish I could say that in Korean.” She shared with a smile.

In turn, her co-host, Ken Jeong, told viewers that he would love to have Director Bong Joon Ho on the show. “If I could invite a Korean celebrity to the Masked Singer, it would definitely be Bong Joon Ho, the director of Parasite. I love the Masked Singer. Saranghaeyo.” The Dr. Ken star shared cheerfully.

The King of Masked Singer revolves around a set of celebrities donning outrageous disguises while they sing their hearts out in several rounds. The audience votes for their favorites based on the songs performed.

This singing competition is guaranteed to keep viewers on the edge of their seats as they have to wait until the elimination of a contestant in order to shine some light on their identities. The last celebrity standing will be hailed as the King of Masked Singer.

If Jimin does end up guesting on The Masked Singer to either showcase his honeyed vocal chops or panelist skills, it would serve as somewhat of a sequel to his appearance as a panelist on the Korean show in 2017. In addition, BTS’ maknae, Jungkook, guested as a contestant on the show with his flawless vocals the year before, clad in a white fencing uniform and elaborate alien-like antenna mask.
