Just recently, the group’s agency, Spire Entertainment, revealed the announcement through its fan cafe and various news media outlets as well. “On January 9, OMEGA X members have been diagnosed with COVID-19. All members and all staff are undergoing testing.”

Currently, Jaehan, Hangyeom, Jehyeon, Jeonghoon have tested positive for COVID-19, while the other members Hwichan, Sebin, Taedong, Jen, Kevin, Hyuk, and Yechan are waiting for their test results.

Following the quarantine guidelines set by the government authorities, OMEGA X have cancelled all activities for the next two weeks.

This is the second time that the group experienced a COVID-19 emergency. In July 2020, the group was shocked by the visit of a confirmed COVID-19 patient to their comeback showcase for the first mini-album VAMOS. Fortunately, at the time, both the members and the staff tested negative for the coronavirus.

Earlier this week, OMEGA X  made their grand comeback. They gifted fans with the second mini album LOVE ME LIKE and the title track of the same name.
