Park Bo Young Gives Donation To Help Children In Need

Park Bo Young is truly beautiful inside and out!

Amid these extra challenging times,  well-loved actress Park Bo Young has extended financial assistance to children from low-income communities.

Earlier today, BH Entertainment revealed that the actress donated 30 million won or approximately $27,216 to Good Neighbors, a non-government organization, to fund kits with sanitary products for young girls. Notably, she made the heartwarming gesture to celebrate her recent birthday on February 12.

Since last year, Bo Young has been supporting the said NGO through regular sponsorships. Aside from Good Neighbors, she also previously gave 50 million won (approximately $45,357) to the Community Chest of Korea to help in preventing COVID-19. Moreover, she donated 20 million won (approximately $18,138) to the Korea Disaster Relief Association to deliver relief to flood victims.

Bo Young said, “I hope it will be of practical help to the girls entering the growing season. Everyone is going through a difficult time with COVID-19, but I hope that many people will join us in good work for children who need such warmth.”

On behalf of Good Neighbors, Hwang Sung Joo, the director of marketing, expressed his gratitude to the actress. “We thank Park Bo Young for continuously supporting the young girls from low-income families. Good Neighbors will provide professional services so that the girls can mature in good health,” he said.

Meanwhile, in related news, Park Bo Young’s next drama project has been confirmed. She will star in the tvN fantasy romance drama series titled Doom at Your Service alongside other top-billed actors including Seo In Guk, Lee Soo Hyuk, Kang Tae Oh, and Shin Do Hyun.
