“Hands for Hero” firefighter’s 2019 calendar supports family members of firemen, who struggle to make a living after not being able to get proper treatment from acquired injuries while on duty. It is a non-profitable organization that also extends help to family members of firefighters who have passed away.

The generous actor is known for his donation in various activities, such as Gyeongju earthquake restoration fund, Children Rehabilitation Hospital, Sewol, and more. He was also awarded a grand prize by Seoul Metropolitan Government for his unwavering contributions and voluntary activities.

Park Hae Jin came across “Hands for Hero” after purchasing the first edition of the magazine last year. Before that, during the promotion of his drama Cheese in the Trap, one of the wishes which he granted from the “Wish Listening” event is to visit a firefighter dad at Daegu fire station according to the participant’s request. He provided words of encouragements to Daegu firefighters, and gifted them with red ginsengs and tea snacks.

The actor’s fleeting interaction established a sweet bond for the actor’s newfound cause. The “Hands for Hero” firefighter’s 2019 calendar will be issued on November 9.

Park Hae Jin is scheduled for small screen comeback this year at SBS camp for pre-produced drama Four Men, which will reunite him with PD Jang Tae Yoo. The director is famous for many works, such as You Who Came From The Star, Painter of the Wind and Tree with Deep Roots.
