Red Velvet Is Chic And Classy For ‘The Velvet’ Teasers

Red Velvet members will be returning as sweet and mature ladies with ‘The Velvet’!

The lovely ladies will be dropping their second mini album, The Velvet, on March 16. They are reported to make a comeback with a ‘Velvet’ concept that expresses their feminine soft charms.

The title track of their new album was revealed to be an R&B ballad titled One Of These Nights. Red Velvet will have its first live stage on the March 17 episode of Mnet’s MCountdown.

The girls are said to be returning with a total reversal of their usual refreshing bubbly charms shown in their previous releases Ice Cream Cake and Dumb Dumb. The EP is revealed to express the group’s unique colour and musical identity.

Several teaser images of the members – Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy and Yeri, were released via Red Velvet’s official website. The soft pastel palette and the girls’ warm expressions certainly exude the soft femininity of their Velvet concept.

An audio teaser for one of the tracks from The Velvet, First Time, was also released via Red Velvet’s official Instagram.
