Red Velvet’s Joy Maintains Lead Among K-pop Girl Group Members In February 2020 Brand Rankings

Congratulations to Red Velvet’s Joy for consistently leading the brand reputation rankings for female idol group members in February!

Based on the latest rankings published by the Korean Business Research Institute, Joy of SM Entertainment’s prized quintet Red Velvet has impressively secured the crown once again as the top female idol in February 2020.

The rankings are based on various factors, including consumer participation, media, communication, and community indices. Specifically, the institute extracted a total of 79,295,967 data among 476 girl group members from January 14 to February 15.

#1 Red Velvet’s Joy

Continuously wowing everyone with high rankings in the past several months, Red Velvet’s Joy has topped the list for two straight months now. The charming and multi-faceted idol was able to maintain her glorious seat after scoring a brand reputation index of 1,632,779 for February.

Some of the high-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis included “fashion”, “Instagram”, and “New York”.  The complimenting words “captivate”, “heartwarming”, and “lovable” are likewise present as her highest-ranking related terms.

#2 BLACKPINK’s Jennie

Following closely at second place is BLACKPINK’s charismatic member Jennie. The beautiful and fashionable idol has climbed up the rankings this February, with a brand reputation index of 1,625,919.

#3 GFRIEND’s Eunha

Rising up in this month’s rankings, Eunha of well-loved K-pop female group GFRIEND has obtained the third spot in the list. The talented vocalist specifically received 1,593,302 brand reputation index.

Korean Idols Indonesian Songs

Completing the top-five list are MAMAMOO’s Hwa Sa and AOA’s Seolhyun who placed fourth and fifth, respectively. Hwa Sa acquired 1,531,876 brand reputation index while Seolhyun got 1,502,177.
