SEVENTEEN Completes Eighth Fan Meeting, Announces World Tour

SEVENTEEN recently wrapped up their eighth fan meeting, held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on July 23rd and 24th. The group surprised their global fans with an announcement of a world tour.

The event, titled ‘2024 SEVENTEEN’s 8th Fan Meeting [SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND],’ attracted fans from 118 countries and regions, both online and offline. The fan meeting showcased SEVENTEEN’s signature energy, impressive performances, and strong connection with their fandom, CARAT. The group performed a mix of songs, including “Shining Diamond” and “Thinkin’ About You,” as well as special units like Jeonghan X Wonwoo’s “Yesterday Night (Guitar by Park Joo Won)” and “The God of Light Music.”

A highlight was the ‘Unit Reverse’ stage, where SEVENTEEN’s hip-hop, performance, and vocal teams swapped songs, displaying their versatility. The event also featured a grand production with giant electronic billboards and firecrackers, and the members interacted closely with fans via a mobile vehicle.

During the fan meeting, SEVENTEEN expressed their gratitude to CARAT for their support over the past nine years and promised to continue delivering exceptional music and performances. The group also teased their upcoming world tour, titled ‘SEVENTEEN [Right Here] World Tour,’ set to start in October. They will perform in major Asian regions, including Korea and Japan, and visit the United States. Additionally, SEVENTEEN will headline ‘Lollapalooza Berlin’ on September 8th.

Pledis Entertainment, SEVENTEEN’s agency, hinted at more global activities to come. SEVENTEEN has recently topped album charts in Korea and Japan with ’17 Is Right Here’ and made waves in the U.S. with a top 10 ranking on the ‘US Top CD Album Sales’ list. Their impressive achievements and upcoming world tour have set high expectations for their continued global success.
