SEVENTEEN Receives Double Platinum Certification For “Fallin’ Flower” In Japan
SEVENTEEN has landed yet another great feat with their latest Japanese single!
SEVENTEEN takes on a noteworthy achievement showing the success of their second Japanese single “Fallin’ Flower”!
On May 15, Pledis Entertainment gladly announced that “Fallin ‘Flower” has been certified as double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan.
“We would like to thank all CARATs for their deep enthusiasm. We are really thankful to you! Thank you for your continued support,” the group wrote.
Upon its release on April 1, “Fallin’ Flower” scored the top spot on the daily singles chart rankings of Oricon, Japan’s biggest sales tally site. It also ranked first overall on the Japanese music sales websites HMV Online Shop and Tower Records Online Shop.
Additionally, the song proved its power by also taking over Japan’s Line Music Top 100 chart as well as the top five in ten overseas iTunes charts upon its release.
Ahead of its release, the boy group also gifted fans with the whimsical music video for “Fallin’ Flower” on March 24.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is premiering their first documentary series titled Hit the Road this May 15 on their official YouTube channel and on WeVerse. It will be broadcasted every Wednesday and Friday at noon KST.
It will contain a prologue that comes out as an independent episode, while its epilogue will be released on June 7.
