Congratulations on the new record, SEVENTEEN!

Self-producing K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN has secured a brand-new feat with their latest Japanese single “Power of Love.”

Just recently, the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) revealed that SEVENTEEN’s “Power of Love” is now certified platinum. The 13-member group bagged the achievement after recording 250,000 units shipped in the first month of the single’s release.

“Power of Love” became SEVENTEEN’s third release to receive platinum recognition in Japan within one year, following their 2021 Korean mini albums Your Choice and Attacca.

SEVENTEEN expressed their delight saying, “First of all, thank you to Carats (fan club name) who always support us. We realized once again that we had received a lot of love during the year that we ran without a break. Unfortunately, we couldn’t share a lot of joy with you last year, but we will become a more diligent group. Looking forward to the day that will come to see you someday.”

The group’s latest Japanese single “Power of Love” is filled with messages of support and consolation that a warm spring will come if we all have the power of love, even in a cold and difficult situation.
