SEVENTEEN Surpasses Whopping 4 Million Pre-orders For 10th Mini-Album “FML”

SEVENTEEN is off to a great start for their upcoming comeback!

Powerhouse K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN is repeatedly breaking their own record for pre-order volume with their 10th mini album FML.

According to album distributor YG PLUS on April 13, the number of domestic and overseas pre-orders for SEVENTEEN’s FML, which will be released on April 24 at 6 PM, has exceeded 4 million copies. FML broke its own record with 2.18 million pre-orders within 3 days of pre-orders. This trend is unabated and the record-breaking march continues.

In particular, the pre-orders exceeded 4 million copies, following the record set by the global super group BTS with their 4th regular album MAP OF THE SOUL: 7  in 2020.

Additionally, the number of 4 million pre-orders this time far exceeds even the 2,067,769 copies sold in the first week of SEVENTEEN’s 4th regular album Face the Sun last year. Through this album, they broke their own record, the longest charting on the Billboard 200. This album also recorded the highest sales among albums released last year, exceeding 3.28 million copies in cumulative sales based on the circle chart.

With the 4th album repackage Sector 17, it bagged a new record as the first repackage album in K-pop history to achieve a million-seller. Moreover, the group’s last two albums were ranked 5th and 9th respectively in the “Best selling pure albums worldwide in 2022” as recently announced by the International Federation of the Music Industry (IFPI).

As SEVENTEEN continues to gain momentum, FML is expected to perform well on global charts such as Billboard 200. With this album, the group will present their first double title song since their debut.
