SEVENTEEN Triples Previous Album Sales First-Day Record With “An Ode”

SEVENTEEN definitely rattled everyone with their latest full-length album – and it definitely shows in how it has been a booming success so far!

SEVENTEEN had shaken up the music scene with their latest full-length studio album gift to fans titled An Ode, which just effortlessly broke their personal record with shining success!

S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino had achieved a new milestone and personal best for their career through their latest – and very powerful – album!

On September 18, the official first-day sales for An Ode has been tallied and announced, and it showed very astonishing results to be listed in SEVENTEEN’s history.

The group immediately surpassed a whopping amount of 160,000 album sales for An Ode within just twenty-four hours of its release. This record is thrice that of their first-day album sales for their previous mini-album YOU MADE MY DAWN which came before An Ode.

Its success also reflected on how it topped major music charts both domestically and internationally. Upon its release on August 16 at 6 PM KST, An Ode quickly ranked number one in real-time and daily charts of Hanteo, Synnara, Hot Tracks, Yes 24, and Kyobo Bookstore.

The album was also able to top various iTunes K-Pop charts all around the world. While An Ode immediately dominated the number one spot in twenty-four regions including the United States, Canada, Indonesia, Vietnam, and more, its title track “Fear” occupied the top spot in the K-Pop songs charts in thirteen regions which include the United Kingdom, France, Singapore, and more.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is scheduled to hold their first comeback stage featuring “Fear” on September 19 through Mnet’s M Countdown.
