Key was shocked right after he heard his name announced as this week’s first place. The singer received the trophy with a puzzled look and uttered the word “Why?”, showing that he never expected to win.

Trying his best to suppress his tears, Key extended his gratitude speech saying, “Thank you Lee Soo Man, and to all the ones who worked hard in making this album possible. The managers, stylists, hair and makeup staff. And to all the fans, I will never ever forget this moment. Thank you for giving me lots of support for this album. I’ll take this as a note to work harder.”

Moreover, GOT7’s Youngjae made his debut as a solo singer with “Vibin”, while former IZ*ONE member Jo Yuri showcased her potential as a next-generation soloist with “GLASSY”. Performances from ATEEZ, ITZY, WOODZ, N.Flying, GOLDEN CHILD, AB6IX, CRAVITY, E’LAST, Ciipher, BLITZERS, ICHILLIN’, Lee Chan Won, and NORAZO also decorated this week’s broadcast of Show! Music Core.

Meanwhile, Key released his first mini-album, BAD LOVE, on September 27, 2021 with the title track of the same name. He has been actively promoting the title track alongside the other b-sides in several music shows.
