Take note K-pop world, innovation rules.

It is not uncommon to see S.M. Entertainment being the first K-pop label to try out different methods on debuts and releases in the lucrative Korean entertainment industry. Take for example, back in 2012, EXO debuted in two sub-groups targeting China and South Korea, with possibly the most number of debut teasers ever in the history of K-pop.

This year, the top Korean entertainment agency is set to debut its next latest innovation.  In January, the agency’s founder and CEO Lee Soo Man has already spoken on plans to introduce a novel neo-boy band system that will exercise flexibility in selection of member and locality.

On April 9 and 10, S.M. Entertainment will present its new boy group named NCT U to the world. NCT U will debut in two units separately on Saturday and Sunday under a new idol management system,

NCT U, abbreviated for ‘Neo Culture Technology’, will be SM’s first multi-member band system under the agency’s new idol management system. More than just a single boy band, NCT U will have its local units based in major cities around the world.

The members of NCT U will be introduced on its official website and various social media channels soon.

Will NCT U take the world by storm?
