SNSD and T-ara receive Golden Disk

Girl groups SNSD and T-ara have been recently awarded with the Golden Disk in Japan.

The Recording Industry Association of Japan announced that SNSD sold over 100,000 copies of its most recent single Oh! since the official release last month on September 26. T-ara also received the Golden Disk award for its track Bo Peep Bo Peep that was released last year on September 28.

Furthermore, SNSD’s Girls’ Generation Completed Video Collection won the Golden Disc title and the group will begin a Japanese tour early next year.
