Some K-Dramas Are Not Airing This Week, No Need To Panic
Korean drama fans may find their viewing schedule disrupted for a sennight.
A number of K-dramas will take a break from showing latest episodes this week. Tale of the Nine Tailed announced (last week) they will not be airing episodes 13 and 14 as scheduled. A special highlight episode will be broadcast on November 18 in place of Episode 13. The variety show Future Class will air on November 19 instead of the series’ 14th episode.
The production team said, “Tale of the Nine Tailed will take a break for one week. [This] is to improve the completion of the drama.” They added that 13th and 14th episodes will air on November 25 and 26, respectively.
Meanwhile, Kairos and Penthouse managed to air one episode each on Monday, November 16. However, both dramas took the following night off due to sports broadcasts. On November 17, MBC had the live showing of the first round of 2020 KBO Korean League Series between Doosan and NC. The network will air the second round on November 18, taking up the slot of The Spies Who Loved Me.
SBS, on the other hand, showed the warm-up soccer game between South Korea and Qatar on Tuesday, (November 17). This pushed back the airing of Penthouse’s 8th episode to next week, November 23.
On November 20, JTBC also announced that More Than Friends will air its finale week on November 27 and 28.
No need to fret, because regular programming for these K-dramas will resume next week.
