Song Joong Ki Rejects Casting Offers Due To Upcoming Wedding With Song Hye Kyo
This is actually a good chance for Song Joong Ki. But still.
On September 13, Song Joong Ki reportedly rejected several highly potential casting offers from upcoming acting projects. One of them is a new original drama, titled Kingdom, which is produced by the American Entertainment company Netflix. The move is seen as an indication of the actor’s interest to focus on his coming wedding with Song Hye Kyo, which is happening on October 31.
In response to the rejection, Song Joong Ki’s management agency Blossom Entertainment stated that the actor made the final decision to turn down Netflix’s Kingdom. As of now, there is no project confirmed in the pipeline.
Further, the production team of Kingdom said that it will begin the filming once the casting is finalized. Since it has been delayed from its original filming schedule in September, it is likely to begin after October as a measure to improve the quality expectation.
The 100 percent pre-produced Netflix drama Kingdom is created by the famed writer Kim Eun Hee, who worked on the highly successful 2016 TVN drama Signal.
