Japan fans, mark your calendars, as SS501’s Kim Kyu Jong will be embarking on his first solo live concert in Tokyo this month!

The concert is set to take place at the Sakura Hall, Tokyo on September 13, with a total of two shows. As this coming event marks Kim’s first ever solo concert since his debut in Japan, the singer has reportedly put his utmost effort into preparing the concert, hoping to create meaningful memories with his fans.

His agency B2M Entertainment shared:

As this is Kim Kyu Jong′s first live concert as a solo artist, he is pouring sweat rehearsing vigorously. He put a lot of thought into preparing so that every moment would be a great show, so we expect the concert will be unlike the average live concert.

Kim Kyu Jong debuted as a soloist in Japan with single Drawing Love on July 21. The single successfully leapt to the first spot on Tower Records’ daily sales chart, which has proved the singer’s increasing fame in the local music industry.

In related news, the star has recently wrapped up shooting for the web drama Start Love, which is slated for broadcast this September via Naver’s TV Cast. He will be holding a Latin America tour next month.
