STAYC’s Yoon Diagnosed With COVID-19

We are wishing for the fast recovery of STAYC’s Yoon and the health and safety of all other members!

STAYC member Yoon is confirmed positive for COVID-19.

On March 11, HIGH UP Entertainment reported that Yoon had tested positive for the virus after undergoing a self-diagnosis test on March 10. She immediately conducted a PCR test and was confirmed positive the day after.

Thankfully, Yoon has completed three doses of vaccination and has no special symptoms. The idol group member is currently receiving treatment while at home quarantine, in accordance with the local government and health authorities’ guidelines.

In addition, the other members’ PCR tests returned negative and none are experiencing symptoms. And to prevent any additional cases, STAYC halted all activities and schedules.

Here is the official statement released by HIGH UP Entertainment regarding Yoon and the other STAYC members’ health conditions.

Hello, this is HIGH UP Entertainment.

This is to inform everyone that STAYC member Yoon has tested positive for COVID-19 on March 11, Friday.

Yoon tested positive on the self-testing kit she preemptively conducted on March 10, and immediately underwent a PCR test. On March 11, she was confirmed positive for COVID-19.

Yoon has completed three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and currently has no special symptoms. She is undergoing home quarantine and treatment according to the guidelines of health authorities.

Except for Yoon, all other members of STAYC conducted PCR tests and were negative. None of them are currently experiencing any special symptoms. STAYC will also suspend all activities and schedules and will take necessary measures in accordance with the guidelines set by government health authorities. The possibility of additional confirmed cases cannot be ignored, so we are constantly monitoring the health conditions of the members.

We apologize for causing concern to fans and staff.

Our artists’ health will be considered the top priority and we will do our best for Yoon’s treatment and recovery. We will thoroughly comply with quarantine guidelines to ensure the safety of everyone.
