Sunmi To Conclude The Story Of “Gashina” & “Heroine” With “Warning”

Warning! Sunmi is coming back!

South Korean solo singer Sunmi will be making her return to the K-Pop scene with a new album.

Titled Warning, the album is set to be out on September 4, almost eight months since the release of her fourth solo single, “Heroine”.

MakeUs Entertainment hinted on the upcoming comeback of the singer through teaser photos posted on official social media handles. The first teaser showed two roses and five candles — one remained unlit. The next teaser was a photo with the word “Siren” and the phrase, “The beautiful me does not exist in your illusion.”



Anticipation runs high for the return of Sunmi who has impressed with her solo releases beginning with her 2013 hit song, “24 Hours”, and followed by another chart-topping track, “Full Moon”, in 2014.

After a three-year break, the former Wonder Girls member released her highly successful song, “Gashina” In 2017. The song topped Gaon Digital Chart and peaked at the third spot of Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart.

In 2018, she came out with “Heroine” which once again charted on the third spot of Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart and on the second spot of Gaon Digital Chart.

Through Warning, Sunmi is expected to conclude the story of “Gashina” and “Heroine”, which painted an image of a woman in a lopsided romance who must accept a breakup.
