Super Junior Donates Face Masks To Protect The Youth’s Health
In the face of the recent coronavirus outbreak, Super Junior made a donation that hopes to better protect younger people
Super Junior’s hearts of gold shines through once more. On January 29, it has been revealed that the group made a generous donation to the Community Chest of Korea—for the benefit of the youth.
According to a local media report, Super Junior had donated 10,000 masks in relation to the recent coronavirus outbreak. Currently, masks are considered basic hygiene products for preventing infections—especially for people who are vulnerable to the virus.
The members of Super Junior noted that, in light of this, their donation was made for the benefit of children or adolescents who have weak immune systems and need protection from the coronavirus. Their donation hopes to equip youth welfare facilities with basic prevention measures against the virus.
In related news, the group recently made their comeback with Timeless. Their recent release is the group’s ninth studio repackage album, and will cap off their time-inspired series of albums. The album features nine members – Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun.
Moreover, the group is also slated to perform at the 29th Seoul Music Awards. The group confirmed their set performance at the awards ceremony on January 29, which will be hosted by member Heechul alongside Jo Bo Ah and Shin Dong Yup.
