SUPERNOVA’s Yoon Hak Tests Positive For COVID-19

SUPERNOVA’s Yoon Hak has tested positive for COVID-19.

Yoon Hak’s agency, SV Entertainment, confirmed the news and said, “Yoon Hak returned from Japan after completing his personal activities on March 24, and was tested positive for COVID-19 on April 1.”

Yoon is the first Korean celebrity to be diagnosed with coronavirus. After experiencing mild symptoms of the virus, he got tested at the Seocho District Public Health Center on March 31. 

On the following day, he was tested positive for COVID-19. Currently, he is hospitalized and receiving treatment in an isolated room at Seoul Medical Center. 

The agency also announced that all of his other staff were tested negative for COVID-19. All of his activities will be halted to focus on his recovery.

In 2009, Yoon Hak made his debut as a member of boy group SUPERNOVA, along with Sung Mo, Sung Jae, Geon Il, Jin Hyuk and Kwang Soo. The group is famous for their 2009 hit “TTL: Time To Love”, with girl group T-ara. He also appeared in the dramas Fates and Furies and My Unfortunate Boyfriend.

He is also actively promoting in Japan, and participated as a producer for the audition program G-EGG.
