Taeyeon Rises Up As The Top K-Pop Girl Group Member In October

Hats off to King Taeyeon for being hailed as the top girl idol for the month of October!

According to the latest data published by the Korean Business Research Institute, Taeyeon of the legendary K-pop group Girls’ Generation has been named as the leading female idol group member in October.

The rankings were based on consumer participation, media, communication, and community indices analyzed by the institute. Specifically, the organization extracted a total of 94,236,584 455 pieces of data from September 18 to October 19.

King Taeyeon On Top

Among the numerous 455 female idols, Taeyeon impressively rose to take the first place. With a 70.31  percent increase in her previous score, the beautiful and talented singer was able to obtain a brand reputation index of 3,709,310 for October.

Some of the high-rankings phrases in her keyword analysis include the complementing words such as “strong”, “meaningful”, and her highly-anticipated “return”.

Hwa Sa Settles For Second Place

Previously leading the brand reputation rankings for two consecutive months, Hwa Sa of femme fatale group MAMAMOO has fallen a bit in the list for October. The charismatic and soulful idol secured the second spot after gaining a 3,243,689 brand reputation index.

Hyeri Soars High At Third Spot

With a striking 656.83 percent increase in her score since September, Girls’ Day’s Hyeri was able to climb up the rankings. Specifically, the idol-turned-actress shot up to take the third spot thanks to her 3,235,719 brand reputation index.

Completing the top-five list are IZ*ONE’s Jang Won Young and TWICE’s Nayeon. Jang Won Young placed fourth with a 2,306,208 brand reputation index. Meanwhile, Nayeon followed closely at fifth rank with a score of 2,147,497.
