Eric Mun, Yoo In Na & Lim Ju Hwan Dabble On Romance & Espionage In New MBC Drama

An exciting autumn romance story is underway for The Spy Who Loved Me!

Headlined by Eric Mun, Yoo In Na and Lim Ju Hwan, an engrossing love tale will be presented in 나를 사랑한 스파이 The Spy Who Loved Me (literal translation). Secrets abound in the intertwining lives of the characters in this new MBC series eyeing October broadcast.


Directed by Lee Jae Jin (The Banker), The Spy Who Loved Me will be penned by acclaimed screenwriter Lee Ji Min. Her works include films The Man Standing Next, Forbidden Dream and The Age of Shadows to name a few. Notably, the new MBC series will be his first project on small screen.

The Spy Who Loved Me revolves around the story of a woman who gets entangled with two husbands, whose works involve secret service. Casting for the three main actors has been confirmed.

The Twice Married Woman

Portraying the role of Kang Ah Reum is the beautiful acress – Yoo In Na. Her role is a wedding dress designer who married two men with secret lives involving espionage. Ah Reum is sketched to bring variety of unique and cheerful aspects.

Famed for her distinct knack of packaging herself as rom-com goddess, Yoo In Na has gifted memorable portrayals. That includes Touch Your Heart, Goblin and Queen and I. “I am happy to greet you in the role of Kang Ah Reum, who is full of enthusiasm and charm. I am looking forward to a special romance story,” Yoo said.

The Two Spy Husbands

Returning for a new romance serving, Eric Mun plays the role of Interpol secret agent – Jeon Ji Hoon, who is also the first husband of Ah Reum. An active spy disguised as a travel writer, he reunites with his ex-wife again because of an unexpected event.

Always shining on his romance drama projects, SHINHWA’s Eric expressed elation to work on a good project with great actors. His notable works include Another Miss Oh and Discovery of Love.

Versatile actor Lim Ju Hwan suits up as the second husband of Ah Reum. His name is Derek Hyun, a cold industrial spy. Disguised as a diplomat, he is infinitely sweet to his wife, but is unfazed when it comes to his missions.

His love is sincere for his wife, but just like Ji Hoon, his identity can’t be revealed. However, with the return of his wife’s ex-husband, the perfect world he built might crumble. Interestingly, Lim Ju Hwan challenges dual charm of his character as a doting husband and dauntless industrial spy. The actor last worked on dramas, The Great Show and The Game: Towards Zero.

Expected to draw a breathtaking romantic comedy, The Spy Who Loved Me incorporated fun, action and heart flutters in a mesmerizing spectacle.
