A successful start for SNSD’s Tiffany as a solo artist!

On May 11, Tiffany made her official solo debut with the first mini album I Just Wanna Dance, and the MV for her namesake title track.

Upon its release, the electropop lead song took over six local music charts, namely Naver Music, Genie, Mnet, Olleh Music, Bugs and Soribada.  It also climbed to the 2nd and 3rd spots on Melon and Monkey3 respectively. These achievements are a testament to the singer’s increasing popularity in the K-pop scene.

The music video for I Just Wanna Dance is also catching a lot of attention from overseas fans, as its filming took place in the singer’s hometown, Los Angeles.

It is noted that the six-track album includes Tiffany’s first self-composed song What Do I Do, whose lyrics were penned by her group mate Sooyoung.

The soloist is set to give performances of her two new songs; I Just Wanna Dance and Talk on Mnet’s M Countdown on May 12.
