BTS, NCT, & SEVENTEEN Lead January Brand Rankings Among K-Pop Boy Groups
The Korean Business Research Institute revealed the first brand reputation rankings among male idol groups this 2021!
Starting the year with their continuous feats, BTS once again rose as the top K-pop boy group in the brand reputation rankings this January!
Just recently, the Korean Business Research Institute released the list. The rankings were based on consumer participation, media, communication, and community indices. The institute accumulated a total brand reputation index of 57,697,220 among numerous idol groups from December 9 to January 9.
Steadily guarding the top spot is the worldwide phenomenal septet BTS. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were able to gain an impressive brand reputation index of 18,656,046, making it their 32nd month to lead the rankings.
Some of the high-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis are “Billboard”, “Dynamite”, and “Map of the Soul”. The words “chosen”, “dominate”, and “record” are also present as their highest-ranking related terms.
Claiming the 2nd spot for the fourth time now is NCT. The well-loved group scored a brand reputation index of 5,115,736 this January.
Following closely at the third spot is the multi-talented idol group SEVENTEEN. The shining K-Pop group was able to obtain a brand reputation index of 4,613,058.
Placing fourth and fifth in the rankings are EXO and The Boyz. GOT7 obtained the sixth spot while SHINee claimed the seventh spot. Completing the top ten this month are Super Junior, MONSTA X, and NU’EST, who took the eighth to tenth spots, respectively.
